What was your biggest reason to compete in Miss Universe Aruba?
To receive the honor to represent my country with pride at the Miss Universe Pageant
and to show the world my one Happy island Aruba!!

What do you think are the most important qualities to win the Miss Universe crown?
Confidence. Determination. Always be positive.
If you had the chance to promote Korea abroad, what traits about your country would you emphasize and why?
I should emphasize Aruba'a multicultural aspect, because it shows how we live together as one big family accepting
different cultures and making it part of ours! And of course the Aruban attitude; the smiles and the hospitality that
all of us show to our visitors and to each other!
How do you define the role of beauty queens in the world at this moment?
It's not all about the beauty but about one as a person. It's more about personality and intelligence and as
beauty queens we have to give from the inside with the willingness to dedicate your time to give a helping hand to others.
What is your opinion on the problem of child abuse in the world?
I strongly believe that any type of abuse is incorrect. I can't understand why people have to resort to abuse.
Abuse is wrong! But I can say that I am happy that there are organizations that dedicate their time in giving
information and providing help for those people that need it.
What kind of profession would you like to pursue?
To be honest, I am not completely sure at this point I my life. I should pursue a career either in dance or
in the tourism industry.
Which persons do you admire and why?
The person I admire is my mother. She has taught me a lot and she is an example for me that a single mother could
achieve everything as long as you have determination and perseverance. She has done so much for me.
Do you think you deserve to be crowned Miss Universe on July 14th in Vietnam?
Yes, I'm confident that I have the qualities and the necessary attributes that it takes to be crowned
Miss Universe! I have worked and am working hard to achieve the Miss Universe Crown.
How has your family influenced your life?
Every member of my family works hard to be successful in their career. A true characteristic
of our family - to work hard to have success in life, success not being money or material objects but success
in personal satisfaction, health and happiness! Having such a hard-working family has taught me that everything
that I want to achieve in life is in my reach, with hard work and determination.
If you had the opportunity to fulfill a dream for your country at this moment, what would it be and why?
To be the first crowned Miss Universe!
Do you have a message to all pageant fans?
I do hope I could get your support during my participation at the Miss Universe Pageant and participating in
the Miss Universe Pageant was always a vision, then a dream and now a reality.
