Miss Venezuela LY JONAITIS is Miss Photocritical Beauty 2007!

Critical Beauty asked five individuals to select the most photogenic candidate in this year's Miss Universe contest. The judges are:

- Eric Bean, a renowned beauty and fashion photographer from New York City
- Tom Hawkins, a well-known beauty and fashion photographer from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
- Héctor Colón González, pageant promoter and director of Belleza Crítica from Puerto Rico
- Marcelo Cedeño, pageant promoter and director of Bellezas Ecuatorianas from Ecuador
- David Natanawan, pageant promoter from the Philippines

    The judges were asked to analyze the official headshot of each of the 77 delegates, and time permitting, the judges were given the option to check out the swimsuit and evening gown photos. Then, each judge had to select his ten favorite delegates and to give each delegate a score between 7.50 (lowest) and 10.00 (highest). It seems that judging was not easy, specially to Eric Bean who commented, "There were alot of very beautiful women this year. I choose women who stood out as having a 'classic beauty' as I see it. Many, if not all, of my picks could make a career in modeling, in my opinion."

      Based on the final tabulation, Miss Venezuela Ly Jonaitis accumulated the most number of points. Tom Hawkins remarks, "Hands down I believe Ly Jonaitis Miss Venezuela deserves the Award for Miss Photocritical Beauty award. Her countenance is truly stunning revealed though a captivating and gripping essence that literally pours out of the photo."

      Twenty-eight delegates made the list of at least one judge. Here are the final results:
