Miss Universe India 2019

Vartika Singh has been crowned Miss Universe India 2019 and will now represent India at Miss Universe 2019 pageant whose date and venue have yet to be announced.   Singh's pageant experience is quite extensive. She made the top 7 in Miss Universe India 2014, placed 2nd runner-up in Femina Miss India 2015, and then won Miss Grand International 2015 and finished 2nd runner-up at Miss Grand International 2015. She  holds a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, and a Master's degree in Public Health. Miss World Philippines 2019

Michelle Dee was crowned Miss World Philippines 2019 on September 15t at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Manila. She will now represent the Philippines in Miss World 2019 contest to be held in London on December 14. Dee is the daughter of Melanie Marquez, Miss International 1979 from the Philippines. New Korean Queens For 2019

 Miss Queen Korea 2019  pageant was held at the Grand Walkerhill  Hotel in  Seoul on September 5.   Lee Yeon-Joo, a 20-year-old fashion model, wa s crowned Miss Universe Korea 2019  and will  now compete in the next edition of Miss Universe whose date and venue have yet to be confirmed.   At the same event Lim Ji-Yeon was crowned Miss World Korea 2019 and will compete in Miss World 2019 to be held in London on December 14.   Laura Kwon Whee was crowned Miss Supranational Korea 2019 and will compete in Miss Supranational 2019 to be held in Poland on December 6. Miss Universe Chile 2019

Geraldine González , 19, representing Escuela SuperMiss, was crowned Miss Universe Chile 2019 during the finals held on September 1 at Casino Dreams in Punta Arenas. She will now represent Chile in the next edition of Miss Universe pageant whose date and venue have not been confirmed.  

New Icelandic Queens For 2019

Three new queens were crowned during the Miss Universe Iceland 2019 pageant that took place in Reykjavik on August 31. From left to right:  Hugrún Egilsdóttir , Miss Supranational Iceland 2019  who will compete in Miss Supranational 2019 pageant in Poland in December;    Birta Abiba Þórhallsdóttir , Miss Universe Iceland 2019, who will compete in the next edition of Miss Universe whose date and venue have not been announced; and  Hulda Vigdísardóttir , Queen Beauty Iceland 2020, who will compete in Queen Beauty Universe 2020. Birta (center) makes Icelandic pageant history as the first woman of color to be crowned Miss Universe Iceland. 

Miss Earth India 2019 & Miss Intercontinental India 2019

Tejaswini Manogna was crowned Miss Earth India 2019 on August 31 during the Miss Divine Beauty 2019 pageant. She will now represent India at Miss Earth 2019 pageant to be held in the Philippines in October.  The newly crowned 23-year-old beauty boasts of an impressive resumé. She is a licensed loctor and a yoga practitioner, a motivational speaker, a trained dancer of the Indian classical dance Bharatnatyam, and is the Youth Ambassador of India. She was crowned by the current Miss Earth from Vietnam, Nguyen Phuong Khanh . At the same event, Surina Jaidka was crowned Miss Intercontinental India 2019 and will compete in the next edition of Miss Intercontinental pageant. Miss Universe Germany 2019

The new Miss Universe Germany 2019 is Miriam Rautert of Berlin. She is of German and Trinidadian extraction and was born in Trinidad & Tobago. Rautert will now represent Germany in the next edition of Miss Universe whose date and venue have not been confirmed.  The first runner-up is Christine Annabelle Keller and the second runner-up is Alena Krempl .

Miss Universe Jamaica 2019

Miss  Universe Jamaica 2019 Iana Tickle Garcia believes many of Jamaica's youth are voiceless and are not afforded opportunities to make a difference in society. She hopes to be a change agent for the marginalised during her year-long reign. “I want to get the youth more involved because right now they feel like they don't have a voice. They feel they are unimportant, but it's for them to understand that they too can make a difference in the society,” she said. The 19-year-old former Montego Bay Community College student was crowned in a spectacular grand coronation showcase at the National Arena Saturday night.
