Thailand Wins Miss International 2019

Sireethorn Leearamwat of Thailand, a 25-year-old pharmacist, was crowned the new Miss International 2019 at Tokyo Dome in Japan, on Tuesday, November 12. Leearamwat's victory marks her country's first ever Miss International title. She succeeded Mariem Velazco of Venezuela. Eighty-three countries were represented in this year's pageant which was streamed live via Facebook and YouTube starting at 4:00 P.M., Tokyo time.

Her court includes (in the above photo from left to right) 3rd runner-up Alejandra Vengoechea of Colombia, 1st runner-up Andrea Toscano of Mexico, 2nd runner-up Evelyn Namatovu Karonde of Uganda, and 4th runner-up Harriotte Lane of United Kingdom.

Rounding up the top 8 were Bea Patricia Magtanong of the Philippines, Nguyễn Tường San of Vietnam, and Jolene Marie Rotinsulu of Indonesia. Completing the top 15 were Melissa Jiménez of Venezuela, Pawani Vithanage of Sri Lanka, Ivana Carolina Irizarry of Puerto Rico, Elize Joanne de Hong of the Netherlands, Kaye Cheung of Hong Kong, Jutta Kyllönen of Finland, and Maria Perviy of Belarus.

Trans-Identified Male Crowned “Miss Greater Derry 2023,” Takes Home Women’s Scholarship

A local beauty pageant is attracting ample mockery on social media after a trans-identified male was crowned the winner of the competition and awarded a scholarship intended for young women. Brían Nguyen , 19, was awarded the crown in the Miss Greater Derry pageant, held on November 8 in the Greater Derry area of New Hampshire. Lindsay Becker , 32, of Florida was crowned Miss Global USA 2024 at the national pageant in Orlando, Florida on Sunday, July 30. Lindsay competed alongside other women from across the country for the chance to represent the USA on the world’s stage at the Miss Global 2024 pageant.
