Miss Teen USA 2017

Sophia Dominguez-Heithoff, a 17-year-old high school graduate from Kansas City, Missouri, was crowned Miss Teen USA 2017 on Saturday night, July 29, at Symphony Hall in Phoenix, Arizona.  Her court includes:

1st runner-up -  Oregon - Vanessa Matheson

2nd runner-up - Nevada - Alexis Smith

3rd runner-up - Indiana - Paige Robinson

4th runner- up - California - Jaanu Patel

Completing the top 15 semi-finalists were:

Iowa - Carley Arnold

Maryland - Taylor Spruill

New York - Isabella Griffith

Oklahoma - Baylee Ogle

Texas - Kirby Lindley

Utah - Rachel Bell

Vermont - Kelsey Golonka

West Virginia - Olivia Hutchison

Wyoming Wyoming - Autumn Schieferstein

Sophia is the second woman from Missouri to win the coveted teen title (the first being Marissa Whitley in 2001).
