She will now represent her country in Miss Universe 2024 contest to be held in Mexico City on November 16. Maria Fernanda was previously Miss Grand Mexico 2023.   Catalina Marsano of Peru, 28, has been crowned Miss International Queen 2024 in Thailand moments ago. She is the first transwoman from her country to win the most coveted pageant for transgender women. The first runner-up is Saruda Panyakham and the second runner-up is Nguyen Tuong San of Vietnam. Completing the top 6 were Katalina Enriquez of USA, Sophia Nichole Arkanghel of the Philippines and Juliana Rivera Gutierrez of Colombia. The production was amazing, from the opening number all the way to the coronation of the winner. Congratulations to Peru and to the  @missinternationalqueen  organization for a fabulous show!   Miss USA erased Noelia Voigt and UmaSofia Srivastava, the pageant queens who resigned, from its Instagram pages There are over 4,000 posts on the Miss USA Instagram page. But once a new queen was named on August 4, nearly all evidence of the two women who recently resigned their crowns vanished. One of those women is Noelia Voigt, who relinquished her Miss USA 2023 crown in May. She held the position for seven months, but the only post from her reign acknowledges her resignation. The same is true on the Miss Teen USA page, where any glimpse of UmaSofia Srivastava, who resigned her title two days after Voigt, has also disappeared. It's just the latest development in the drama surrounding Miss USA and its CEO, Laylah Rose. Michigan’s Alma Cooper took the crown on Sunday, August 4, during the pageant’s 73rd annual ceremony at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. The 22-year-old of Afro Latina descent, who has a Master’s in data science from Stanford University, beat 50 other contestants in a pageant that included swimwear and evening gown competitions. Connor Perry of Kentucky was first runner-up, Danika Christopherson of Oklahoma was second runner-up, Christell Foote of Tennessee was third runner-up, and Macy Hudson of Ohio was fourth runner-up. Cooper is the fourth woman from Michigan to win the title, after Carole Gist in 1990, Kenya Summer Moore in 1993 and Rima Fakih in 2010. Gist was one of the judges in the competition. MANILA, Philippines   –  Krishnah Marie Gravidez of Baguio was crowned Miss World Philippines 2024 during the live coronation night held in the Mall of Asia Arena, which began on Sunday evening, July 19 and ended up running until the early hours of Monday, July 20. Gravidez bested 32 other candidates in the competition to succeed Miss World Philippines 2022 Gwendolyne Fourniol.  Prior to joining Miss World Philippines 2024, Gravidez was  named  Miss Charm Philippines 2023 in May 2023 after finishing in the Top 5 of the Miss Universe Philippines 2023. She  relinquished  her Miss Charm Philippines title in June 2024. During the coronation night, Gravidez also took home the Best in Evening Gown, Best in Swimsuit, and Miss Photogenic special awards.  Aside from Gravidez, four other women were also crowned. The winners of the other titles are: Reina Hispanoamericana Filipina: Dia Mate (Cavite) Miss Multinational Philippines: Nikki Buenafe (Pangasinan) Miss Tourism Philippines: Patricia Bian

Suchata “Opal” Chuangsri has been crowned Miss Universe Thailand 2024 on July 14. She will now represent Thailand in Miss Universe 2024 pageant to be held in Mexico in November. Opal was originally third runner-up in Miss Universe Thailand 2022, but was promoted to 2nd runner-up after the resignation of the first runner-up Nicolene Limsnukan. The first runner-up is Surisa “Sueri” Susana Renaud of Phuket and the second runner-up is Karnruethai “Mook” Tassabut of Ubon Ratchathaniv. Myrna Esguerra, 22, representing the province of Abra, was crowned Binibining Pilipinas International 2024 on July 7 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. She will represent the Philippines in Miss International 2025. Andrea Rubio, the current Miss International, assisted in the crowning ceremony. 40 young women participated in the 60th anniversary edition of the country’s premier and oldest-running pageant. Myrna is a model and an advocate of Seed4Com, a sustainable energy and enterprise development. Coincidentally, first name of the first Miss International Philippines from 1964 - 60 years ago - was also Myrna (Panlilio). Meanwhile, Jasmin Bungay, 26, representing Pampanga, was crowned Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2024 and will compete in The Miss Globe 2024 pageant to be held in Albania later this year. The first runner-up is Christal Jean de la Cruz, 19, of Zambales and the second runner-up is Trisha Martinez, 26, of Pila, Laguna. Congratulations to the new queens!

  Christina De La Cruz Chalk , 31, whose father is Scottish and mother is Filipino, has been crowned Miss Universe Great Britain 2024 on July 6 in Newport, Wales. She will now represent Great Britain (United Kingdom) in Miss Universe 2024 to be held in Mexico in November. Christina had competed in Miss Universe Philippines 2024 representing the Filipino community of the United Kingdom. She placed in the top 20. She previously competed in Miss Universe Great Britain four times, placing first runner-up twice: in 2016 and 2021. Congratulations to the new queen!

  Harashta Haifa Zahra , a 20-year-old entrepreneur and model representing Indonesia, was crowned Miss Supranational 2024 in Nowy Sącz, Poland on July 6. Her victory mark’s Indonesia’s first win of the contest that is celebrating its 15th year.  Harashta was crowned by her predecessor Andrea Aguilera of Ecuador. Jenna Dystrak of the United States was first runner-up, followed by Justyna Zednikovano of Czech Republic, Isadora Murta of Brazil and Chanelle de Lau of Curaçao. Completing the top 12 were the delegates from Denmark, Puerto Rico, Thailand, Philippines, India, South Africa and Finland. Congratulations to the new queen!

Mkhize was first runner-up in Mr. World 2019. Thirty-six contestants participated in the 8th edition of the contest. First runner-up: Casey de Vries, 28, Netherlands Second runner-up: Brandon Espiritu, 28, Philippines Third runner-up: Marcos de Freitas, 24, Venezuela Fourth runner-up: Sanonh Maniphonh, 26, Laos Congratulations to the new king!

  Jennifer Colón, 36, representing the municipality of Orocovis, has been crowned Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2024 on June 27. She makes history by being the first mother to win the title. She has two children with singer Ellan Allende, but the couple filed for divorce in 2021. She is now engaged to actor Jairo Calero and the couple has one child. Jennifer is a pageant veteran. She was Miss Teen of Puerto Rico 2006. She placed second in Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2009, was crowned Miss World Puerto Rico 2009. She will now represent Puerto Rico in Miss Universe 2024 to be held in Mexico in November.
