Talent Manager Esther Swan Resigns From Miss Universe

 

Yesterday on her Instagram story, Esther Swan, the talent director of the Miss Universe Organization, posted a cryptic cartoon of her hurling a microphone - an image that prompted her followers to assume that she has either resigned from MUO or has been dismissed.  This does not surprise me at all. New ownership automatically translates into letting go of the old crew and hiring a new one.

Esther has been a vital part of MUO since she began working there over 20 years ago. Of all the MUO staff, she is probably the most traveled and most visible, having managed and accompanied her queens wherever they went. She will be one tough act to follow and she certainly will be missed especially by older fans who have followed her from the beginning.

Good luck Esther in your next chapter in life! You have been an amazing talent director and manager and your queens truly appreciate and love you!
