Miss Myanmar 2012 crowned

Myanmar Tourism Board(MTB) held a Miss Myanmar 2012 Pageant at Yangon on March 25, 2012 at Yangon Myanmar.

Miss Myanmar International crown was won by Nan Khin Zeyar of Yangon (photo above). The 1st runner-up was Swan Yay Tun and the 2nd runner-up was Aye Chan Moe.

Miss Myanmar International also received a cash prize of 3,000,000 kyats plus a Yangon-Seoul-Yangon return airticket presented by Vietnam Airlines and a pearl and diamond pendant presented by Revital. The 1st runner-up was presented with a 1,500,000 kyats cash prize plus Yangon-Ho Chi Min City-Yangon return airticket by Vietnam Airlines and 2nd runner-up was presented with a cash prize of 1,000,000 Kyats plus Yangon-Singapore-Yangon return airtickets by Myanmar Airways International(MAI).

In addition to the above prizes 11 contestants from the 11 Myanmar Hoteliers’ Association 11 zones were selected as representatives of the zones and were presented with a cash prize of 300,000 kyats plus gift vouchers each from various sponsors.

The event was organized by Myanmar Travel Services Co.Ltd under the auspices of the Myanmar Tourism Board (MTB)

Trans-Identified Male Crowned “Miss Greater Derry 2023,” Takes Home Women’s Scholarship

A local beauty pageant is attracting ample mockery on social media after a trans-identified male was crowned the winner of the competition and awarded a scholarship intended for young women. Brían Nguyen , 19, was awarded the crown in the Miss Greater Derry pageant, held on November 8 in the Greater Derry area of New Hampshire. The competition is a locally-run event under the national Miss America series of pageants. Miss USA Vice-President Max Sebrechts Accused Of Sexual Harassment
