Miss World Dominican Republic dethroned for being too old

     

     Television presenter Jenny Blanco (above) posted in her Twitter account yesterday that she will no longer represent the Dominican Republic in Miss World 2012 pageant because she's over the maximum age requirement of 24. She is 25 years old.

But when one door closes, another one opens. Blanco also tweeted that she is nevertheless very happy because Miss World chairwoman Julia Morley has invited her to co-host the event.
