How did you become interested in pageants?
My interest in pageants started from a bet. The first pageant I ever competed in, my mother bet me to participate in it. Keep in mind, I had never worn high heels nor put on makeup. Luckily, I placed First Runner-Up and the next year went on to win the prestigious title of Miss South View High School.
Give three adjectives that your friends would describe you.
Rebellious. Passionate. Kind.
What do you see when you look in the mirror?
When I look in the mirror, I see a woman who has overcome a significant amount of stereotypes.
How do you measure success?
I measure success by the legacy you leave behind and the way people speak of you when you are not around.
Criticism can be a swift ‘punch in the gut’ at times, but I try to turn it into a positive. Lately people have been helping me to see things I need to work on so that I can become an overall better Olivia, they want to help make me the best I can be, otherwise they wouldn’t be giving their input.
If you were to come back as an animal in the next life, what would you be and why?
If I could be any animal in my next life, I would definitely want to come back as a butterfly. They are graceful and truly unique. The most beautiful thing about a butterfly is the fact that they have no idea how much happiness they bring just from their beautiful colors or the way they flutter. Perfect definition of a humble beauty.
Name three pet peeves.
Absence of: Please, Thank You, You’re Welcome, etc.

I won’t say never because of circumstances, but it would take A LOT of coaxing to make me sky dive.
Got any favorite reality shows?
I love Real Housewives of Atlanta! “I’m gone with the wind fabulous” haha!
True or False: People who are attractive tend to be more successful.
True and False. It definitely depends on the person and how they view themselves.
If you could change one thing in the world, what would it be?
I would love to live in a world where we look at people and see their hearts, not the color of their skin. True beauty and happiness comes from within.
Do you have a problem saying "no"?
Absolutely not.
Candle-lit, picnic-style dinner at the lake. Lots of pillows to sit on too! I just love being outdoors and nothing is more romantic than a quiet setting being able to enjoy the stars.
Your craziest or funniest tweet so far.
My funniest tweet so far would have to be when I stated I couldn’t wait to have kids so I could ‘terrorize them with elf on a shelf’. Oops! (insert hysterical crying/laughing face)
Miss USA has the opportunity to be a role
model, but the part of Miss USA’s job is the ability to work closely with the
USO. As a former Military Dependent, it
would be a true honor to be able to use the Miss USA title and give back to
those who so selflessly give for our freedom as Americans.
