Sylvia Hitchcock, Miss Universe 1967, succumbs to cancer

Sylvia Hitchcock, Miss Universe 1967 from the United States, has lost her battle with cancer and passed away on August 16th, according to her family. Sylvia had represented Alabama in the Miss USA 1967 pageant, and she became the third American to win the Miss Universe crown.
