Miss Universe Vietnam 2018

25-year-old H'Hen Niê was crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2018 at Crown Center in Nha Trang on January 6, 2018. She will represent Vietnam in Miss Universe 2018.  Niê makes Vietnamese pageant history by being the first woman from the ethnic minority group, Ede, to win the national pageant.   The first runner-up is Hoang Thuy and the second runner-up is Mau Thuy. Former Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza from Venezuela, who was crowned in Vietnam in 2008, was part of the judging panel.
