South Africa Wins Miss Supranational 2022
Lalela Mswane of South Africa has just been crowned Miss Supranational 2022 in Malopolska, Poland. She makes history by becoming the first South African winner, the first black winner, and the first former Miss Universe contestant to have placed in top 5 and won Miss Supranational. Lalela was second runner-up in Miss Universe 2021.
Her victory was expected after a consistently strong performance in all segments of the competition.
The first runner-up is Praewwanich Ruangthong of Thailand, the second runner-up is Kim Duyen of Vietnam (who made Top 16 in Miss Universe 2021), the third runner-up is Adinda Cresheilla of Indonesia and the fourth runner-up is Ismelys Velasquez of Venezuela.
