Miss Grand Colombia 2023 Crowned

Congratulations to Maria Alejandra Lopez, 28, representing Eje Cafetero, for winning Miss Grand Colombia 2023 on June 18 during a gala event in Bogotá. When the first runner-up was announced first, she thought she placed second until she realized that she had actually won.

“Maleja” as her friends call her is a pageant veteran. She was Reina Hispanoamericana 2013, Miss World Colombia 2015, and first runner-up to Miss Universe Colombia 2021. She will now represent her country in Miss Grand International 2023 to take place in Vietnam on October 25.

The first runner-up is Yuri Rey of Meta and the second runner-up is Valentina Cárdenas of Zona Andina. Isabella Menin, the current Miss Grand International, assisted in the coronation of the winner.
