Miss Universe Netherlands 2026 Crowned

 

Melissa Bottema, 26, representing Groningen, was crowned Miss Nederland 2026 on June 27, 2026 in Amsterdam. She will now represent the Netherlands in the diamond edition of Miss Universe to be held in Puerto Rico in November. 

Melissa was Miss Grand Netherlands 2023 and placed fifth runner-up in Miss Grand International 2023. She was also a semifinalist in Miss Intercontinental 2022. 

The last time the Netherlands placed in the top 5 at Miss Universe was in 2014 with Yasmin Verheijen who placed third runner-up.
